Nesma & Partners Leads a Sustainability Seminar at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM)

Reiterating our commitment to sustainable development and fostering educational partnerships, Nesma & Partners has proudly hosted an engaging sustainability seminar at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) on November 4, 2024. The event attracted around 230 guests, including students, faculty, and senior representatives from KFUPM, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU), Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), and Al Yamamah University.

Led by our Sustainability Corporate Manager, Maya Bakir, along with team members Mohammed Alaqeel and Mohammed Salman, the seminar covered a range of sustainability certifications applicable to various project types, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of their real-world applications in construction. An interactive Kahoot quiz session followed the demonstrations, offering a fun and engaging way to strengthen participants' understanding, while a networking session enabled students to discuss sustainability concepts with our team.

KFUPM’s Vice President, along with other university leaders, honored Nesma & Partners’ contributions to the event with an award presented to Maya Bakir acknowledging our role in advancing sustainability within the industry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated sustainability team and CSR & Sustainability Lead, Kholood Al Mattar, along with Sarah Alzahrani, for their invaluable support in making this event a success.
