The competition will take place on November 8-9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. on the first day to 3:00 p.m. on the second day, at Voco, Khobar.
All participants must arrive and complete registration at least 30 minutes prior to the start time.
Participants must be 15 years of age or older.
Each team can have a maximum of 5 members.
Participants have the option to compete individually or as part of a team.
You may participate alone or in a team; We can group you with other interested participants before the competition begins if you want to join a team but don’t already have one.
Nesma & Partners employees are not eligible to participate.
Teams must register individually in advance by completing the official form provided by Nesma & Partners.
Substitutions or additions to team members after the competition starts will not be permitted.
Participants are required to use their own devices and design software.
No team is permitted to begin the design prior to the official start of the competition.
The quantity of outsourced items utilized must not exceed 25% of the total volume of materials used in the design.
All participants need to submit their designs by the closing time. Only shortlisted teams will present to the judges before deciding the final winners and their ranking.
On the third day, each team will present their concept to the judging panel.
Nesma & Partners may fully cover the implementation costs of the winning team's project, contingent upon the proposal receiving official approval from the relevant authorities to be implemented in a public space in the Eastern Province.
The winning design will become the property of Nesma & Partners, with the winning team retaining the right to be credited as its designers.
Non-winning teams will retain ownership of their designs but grant Nesma & Partners the right to feature their projects in any promotional or marketing materials related to the event.
Teams are required to primarily use recycled materials based on the samples and photos provided by Nesma & Partners for their designs.
Projects will be judged based on creativity, innovation, sustainability, percentage of outsources.
The decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding.
Teams must maintain a respectful and collaborative attitude towards other participants and organizers.
Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to sabotage of other teams’ work, will result in immediate disqualification.
Nesma & Partners and the event organizers are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred by participants during the competition.
Teams participate at their own risk and are responsible for any damage caused to venue property or other participants' work.
By registering for the competition, all participants agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions and any additional rules set forth by the event organizers.
