Corporate Engineering Manager

Wissam Shekhani brings over 20 years of expertise to his role as Corporate Engineering Manager at Nesma & Partners, a position he has held since 2004. Wissam’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, 2002, and a Master’s degree in Architecture (D.E.S. Diplôme D'Études Supérieures D’Architecture, 2004, both from ALBA-Balamand University, Lebanon.


An accomplished and certified architect, Wissam is registered with both the Saudi Council of Engineers and Lebanon’s Order of Engineers and Architects. He is also an AVS (Associate Value Specialist) in Value Engineering, recognized by SAVE International, USA, since 2008, and holds a United Nations Certificate in "Multilateral Conferences and Diplomacy" from UNITAR, Geneva in 2010.


With extensive experience in design and engineering across building, infrastructure, and energy sectors, Wissam has led multiple large-scale, fast-track projects throughout Saudi Arabia, including major undertakings for Saudi Aramco and the visionary cities of NEOM and AlUla under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Currently, Wissam leads Nesma’s Technical Delivery Section, comprising a dedicated team of over 70 architects, civil and structural engineers, and draftsmen. His department emphasizes sustainability and aligns with Nesma & Partners’ roadmap to enhance engineering capabilities, incorporating LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and MOSTADAM standards.


In line with the company’s commitment to innovation, Wissam advances cutting-edge engineering solutions such as Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings (PEB), and Precast Concrete Structures (PC). His team employs state-of-the-art digital tools, including BIM, REVIT, and VR technologies, to streamline design and construction processes. Additionally, Wissam is passionate about talent development, overseeing training and mentorship programs that empower young Saudi engineers with skills in sustainability, innovative construction methods, and advanced software tools.
