Developing Leaders for Tomorrow’s Megaprojects
Nesma & Partners celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of its Executive and Advanced Construction Management Program, delivered in collaboration with Columbia University’s Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM). The ceremony was attended by Chairman Rami AlTurki, President & CEO Samer Abdul Samad, and GLCM Founding Director Ibrahim Odeh, alongside participants and senior leaders.
Over seven months, 40 leaders completed the program across two streams: 15 in the Executive Program and 25 in the Advanced Program. Their achievement reflects not only individual dedication, but also the continued institutionalization of leadership development at Nesma & Partners.
Developed to address the evolving demands of the construction sector, the program aligns leadership capability with the company’s long-term strategic objectives, particularly in the delivery of complex megaprojects across the Middle East. Through a structured, tiered approach, it equips senior managers with the tools to navigate increasingly sophisticated project environments.
The curriculum blended academic rigor with practical application. Through lectures, workshops, case study analysis, collaborative projects, and leadership simulations, participants advanced their expertise in risk management, cost control, sustainability, digital transformation, and project management best practices. The journey was delivered primarily virtually, complemented by three in-person sessions at its conclusion.
Aligned with regional realities and national priorities such as Vision 2030, the program represents more than an academic milestone. It reflects our continued transition into the future, building on a strong foundation while empowering a new generation of leaders with strengthened capabilities and a renewed commitment to excellence.
At Nesma & Partners, investing in our people remains central to delivering sustainable impact for our clients, partners, and the communities we serve.
