NHTI NEOM Delivers Successful Engineering Internship Program
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the second cycle of the engineering internship program, delivered in collaboration with the Nesma High Training Institute (NHTI) and our Sindalah Island operations team. The program welcomed 10 students from Fahad Bin Sultan University (FBSU), Tabuk University, and Tabuk Technical College (TVTC), offering a comprehensive 12-week experience.
The first six weeks took place at NHTI in NEOM, where students participated in technical workshops and guided training sessions. They gained foundational knowledge in core engineering principles, with a strong emphasis on safety, field practices, and hands-on learning.
The second phase was hosted on the Sindalah Island project site, where students engaged directly with ongoing operations. This immersive experience allowed them to contribute to real-time project activities, gaining valuable exposure to large-scale engineering execution in one of the kingdom’s most visionary developments.
The cohort included seven engineering students—five in civil engineering and two in electrical engineering—along with two diploma students in electrical power technology and one in office management. Their professionalism and drive reflected the strength of their academic backgrounds and their readiness to enter the professional workforce. We extend our sincere appreciation to the mentors, instructors, and technical teams at NHTI and Sindalah Island, whose dedication was instrumental to the program’s success.
Looking ahead, the company is considering extending full-time opportunities to select interns whose performance has demonstrated strong potential. Several participants have showcased the aptitude and professionalism that align with our long-term talent development objectives. By continuing to invest in initiatives that empower the next generation of talent, Nesma & Partners reaffirms its commitment to advancing national development priorities and supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.
