Nesma & Partners Awarded Major Infrastructure Contract Supporting KAEC Industrial Expansion
Jeddah, July 6, 2026 – Nesma & Partners has been awarded a contract by Emaar, The Economic City (EEC), the master developer of KAEC, to deliver strategic infrastructure works supporting the continued expansion of King Abdullah Economic City's (KAEC) Industrial Valley and Special Economic Zone (KAEC SEZ), further enhancing the city's readiness for future industrial and logistics investment. WSP will serve as the project management and construction supervision consultant.

Awarded following the completion of the evaluation and feasibility process, the project encompasses the completion of main infrastructure works across key areas within the Industrial Valley and KAEC SEZ. The scope includes integrated road networks, utility services, power and lighting systems, water and sewage systems, and other supporting infrastructure required to support KAEC's future industrial growth.
The project also includes Phase 1 infrastructure works for the King Salman Automotive Cluster, a flagship national initiative that is home to leading automotive manufacturers including Lucid, CEER, and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Middle East, alongside key cluster partners such as MASARAT Mobility Park. In addition, the project will support strategic developments across the Industrial Valley and KAEC SEZ, including Juffali and other automotive manufacturers, by delivering the enabling infrastructure required to strengthen an integrated automotive ecosystem of manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers within a single industrial and logistics hub.
The work will serve developed and partially developed lands within the scope of the project, ensuring readiness for existing tenants, supporting operational continuity, and enabling future phases of industrial and commercial growth across the zone.
By delivering essential infrastructure across the Industrial Valley and KAEC SEZ, the project will support the next stages of development within KAEC and contribute to the continued expansion of its industrial ecosystem.
