Mr. Rami Alturki Highlights Nesma & Partners’ Strategic Growth and New Partnership with FCC in CNBC Arabia Interview
In an interview with CNBC Arabia, Mr. Rami Alturki, Chairman of Nesma & Partners, discussed the company’s expanding role in shaping Saudi Arabia’s construction and investment landscape, emphasizing its commitment to precision, innovation, and collaboration in advancing Vision 2030.
Mr. Rami noted that Nesma & Partners is proud to work across multiple sectors and in close cooperation with government entities, serving as a key enabler of the Kingdom’s transformative goals. He announced a new strategic partnership with the Spanish company FCC Construcción, a global leader in infrastructure and stadium construction. Building on their collaboration in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya, the two companies have signed an agreement to jointly submit the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) prequalification for the redevelopment of the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Sports City in Al Malaz. This initiative marks Nesma & Partners’ entry into project development investment and lays the groundwork for future large-scale sports infrastructure ventures that support Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global hub for sports and entertainment.
He also highlighted the establishment of Nesma Partners Capital, a subsidiary dedicated to investment and project development, alongside Imad Ventures, the company’s corporate venture capital arm. Imad Ventures invests globally in advanced technologies for the construction and engineering sectors, reflecting a new and promising direction for Nesma & Partners. While these investments began modestly, Mr. Rami emphasized that their value extends beyond financial growth, as they aim to enhance efficiency, strengthen on-site safety, and elevate client experience, benefiting both Nesma & Partners and the wider industry.
Reflecting on the Kingdom’s broader transformation, Mr. Rami described this period as fundamental for growth and diversification. Nesma & Partners continues to play a leading role in major national and Public Investment Fund-led projects, including Riyadh Expo 2030, King Salman Park, Diriyah, Qiddiya, and AlUla, while maintaining its long-standing partnership with Saudi Aramco in energy projects.
He further noted that through the acquisition of Kent, a global engineering firm with more than 15,000 engineers worldwide, Nesma & Partners has expanded its capabilities across both conventional and renewable energy sectors. Kent’s recent appointment as the engineering partner for ACWA Power’s green hydrogen project in Yanbu—the largest of its kind globally—underscores the company’s contribution to advancing sustainable, future-oriented energy solutions.
Concluding the interview, Mr. Rami described Saudi Arabia’s transformation as a historic era for the Kingdom and its industries, affirming that Nesma & Partners will continue to advance through strong partnerships, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and national development.
