Rami Alturki

Rami Alturki

Board Chairman

Rami Alturki is the Chairman of Nesma & Partners and President and CEO of Alturki Holding, a diversified Saudi holding company. He also chairs the boards of several subsidiaries and joint ventures, including Velosi Saudi Arabia and Element Saudi Arabia. Alturki began his career in New York with Arthur Andersen after graduating with a degree in Economics from Williams College.

In addition to his corporate leadership, he holds board positions in key national entities such as the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), the King Fahad Causeway Authority, and was previously a member of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). He is also deeply involved in education, youth development, and community service, serving on the advisory board of Dhahran Ahliyya Schools and the boards of Endeavor Saudi Arabia, Shabab Mujtamie, Al Qadsiah Club, the Disabled Association Eastern Province, Ta’allum Association, and other non-profit organizations across Saudi Arabia.

Faisal Alturki

In addition to serving on the board at Nesma & Partners, Faisal Alturki is the President of Nesma Holding Company (one of Nesma & Partners’ four shareholders), which operates across multiple sectors throughout Dubai, Egypt, and Turkey. 

Alturki has personally been involved in several of Nesma’s CSR initiatives, most notably including creating public parks in Jeddah to strengthen social advancement. 

Passionate about driving forward innovation & infrastructure in the region, Alturki oversaw Nesma Holding’s entry into several industries, including the airline & travel industry, renewable energy, public transportation, and fast food.

A serial entrepreneur, Alturki founded Nesma Airlines and served as Chairman of the Board for two other Nesma operations (Nesma Concrete Solutions and Nesma Water & Energy Company). He also maintains board seats with five additional companies throughout the region and serves as the President of two other companies, Nesma Trading, and Mawaddah International Group Co.

Noura Alturki

Noura Alturki is Vice President of Nesma, a family business with over 40 years of robust experience across multiple sectors in Saudi Arabia, with a presence in the UAE, Egypt, and Turkey.

A dynamic and seasoned leader, she is involved in corporate governance as a member of numerous subsidiary boards and board committees. She has participated in the boards of public organizations to promote transparency and accountability, serving as Vice President of the Saudi Shooting Federation from 2018 to 2021. 

She is devoted to inspiring workplaces that embody excellence, innovation, diversity, respect, and impact.

Passionate about diversity & inclusion in the workplace, she spearheaded Namat, a social enterprise Nesma established that integrates women outside urban centers into the national economy and redefines the potential of ‘Made in KSA.’ She has also participated in the International Labor Conference, where 2012, she led the discussion on youth employment, and in previous years joined the drafting committees for United Nations recommendations and standards regarding gender equality and global rights for domestic workers.

Alturki holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University and a Master of Science in Nature, Society, and Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford. She has a Diploma in Company Direction from the UK Institute of Directors.

Outside of work, she loves to travel abroad and spend time with her children and family.

Dr. Zeyad Al-Hekail

Dr. Zeyad Al-Hekail

Dr. Zeyad O. Al-Hekail is a seasoned executive and board leader with over three decades of experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors in Saudi Arabia. He brings a strategic vision rooted in governance, investment leadership, and organizational transformation, making him a valuable addition to the Board of Directors of Nesma & Partners. Dr. Al-Hekail currently serves as Chairman or Board Member of several leading entities, including Advanced Communications and Electronics Systems Company (ACES), SEDCO Holding, Majd Investment Company, Makkah Development and Construction Company, and Shaheen AI. He was also a Board Member and Compliance Committee Chair at Albilad Bank and a founding investor in Tadweer Recycling Company. His leadership spans diverse sectors such as finance, technology, real estate, aquaculture, and education. Notably, he served as CEO of Suliman Alrajhi Holding Company and Advanced Educational Company and held senior academic roles at King Saud University, including Deputy Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs. In the nonprofit domain, Dr. Al-Hekail has contributed significantly to endowments and social development. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah Endowment in Madinah and Princess Nourah University. He previously chaired the Board of Trustees of the Sakan Foundation and participated in various strategic committees supporting national education, healthcare, and economic development. Dr. Al-Hekail holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University. His multidisciplinary expertise, strategic governance acumen, and commitment to sustainable development align with Nesma & Partners' mission of building excellence and contributing to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

Ahmed AlGhamdi

Ahmed AlGhamdi

Board Member

Ahmad AlGhamdi joined the Board of Directors at Nesma & Partners in March 2023. 

In addition to his work with Nesma & Partners, he oversees MENA Investments at the Public Investment Funds (PIF). He holds Board seats at the Southern Province Cement Company & JASARA Program Management Company. 

Before his role at the PIF, AlGhamdi spent a decade building a career with Saudi Aramco, where he helped to design and implement an ambitious corporate transformation. During his tenure, he helped the company develop a competitive local energy sector, invest in new businesses to enrich its income streams and overhaul many policies and procedures in pursuit of better efficiency and agility in an increasingly competitive market. 

AlGhamdi holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in Canada and a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University in the United States.

Nasser AlHuqbani

Board Member

Nasser Al Huqbani is a multifaceted and result-oriented business leader with more than two decades of experience in the health sector. He has been the CEO of the Health Holding Company since January 2023 and a member of the Executive Committee of the National Health Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers since 2020. He is also a member of the Health Insurance Strategic National Committee since 2020, the Saudi-Russian Joint Economic Committee since 2019, the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties since 2017, the Board of Directors of the Tawuniya Insurance Company since 2023, and the Board of Directors of the Nesma and Partners Company since 2023.

Al Huqbani has achieved numerous accomplishments throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Sciences and Public Administration from King Saud University in Riyadh in 1992 and a Master's degree in Office Management from the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh in 1994. He is affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the MOH Consultancy Council and has been included in the Forbes List of Top CEOs in the Middle East 2021. He has also won numerous awards, including the Guinness World Record for the largest Tele-ICU Command Center in the world (2019), the Leadership Award 2019 - "Best CEO in Health Care," the 11th Leading CEO Excellence Award 2014, and the CEO Middle East KSA Awards 2009.

Carlos F. Aguilar

Dr. Carlos F. Aguilar is an independent Board Member at Nesma & Partners.

Dr. Carlos F. Aguilar is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in project finance, engineering, and large-scale infrastructure development, investment, and execution. Appointed as an Independent Board Member by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), he brings strategic leadership and global expertise in power, oil & gas, transport, large-scale multiuse facilities, and industrial projects.

Currently, CEO of Inspire Dallas LLC, Dr. Aguilar has held key leadership roles at Texas Central, CH2M (now Jacobs), BrightSource Energy, and Bechtel, overseeing the financing and execution of multi-billion-dollar projects worldwide. His board experience includes VINCI and ERCOT, reflecting his deep governance and financial acumen.

With degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and Technological Economics from the University of Stirling, Carlos supports Nesma & Partners’ commitment to innovation and excellence in construction and infrastructure.

Bushra Abu Salem

Bushra Abu Salem

Board Secretary and Governance & Compliance Affairs Director

Bushra Abu Salem is Governance & Compliance Affairs Director, heading the Governance and Compliance Department at Nesma & Partners, reporting to the Board of Directors. She has also been the secretary of the Board of Directors and most of its Committees at Nesma & Partners from 2015 to 2022, ensuring compliance at the corporate level.

Her competence and knowledge stem from over 23 years of cross-functional experience in the legal field, corporate governance, and corporate affairs.

Throughout her tenure at Nesma & Partners, Abu Salem has studied, assessed, and compiled reports addressing operating governance at the company. She has grown her expertise in corporate governance, intellectual property, information technology, FIDIC, commercial contracts, contracting business, oil and gas, and more, to assume high-profile positions, namely serving as the Corporate Affairs Executive Manager covering the scope of Chief of Staff with the co-founder and late President & CEO of Nesma & Partners, Imad Gholmie.  

In 2015, Bushra established the Management Committee with the late President & CEO. In 2016, she worked on establishing the Corporate Governance framework in the company, which was approved by the current Shareholder, formulating the Terms of Reference for the Board and its committees. Today, she is heading the Governance & Compliance Department, where she also worked on establishing its roles and responsibilities, setting defined KPIS for the team.

 As a legal advisor and Board Secretary, Abu Salem’s role focuses on protecting the interests of the company, its shareholders, and its employees. Not only does she provide essential support to the Chairman, President & CEO, and other directors, but she also is the primary contact for all shareholders as her role focuses on maintaining and fostering good communication among the Board Directors, providing legal advice on critical issues.

Her robust career with Nesma & Partners features engagement with high-end company projects.

Before joining Nesma & Partners, Abu Salem worked in public and international organizations such as ESCWA, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the World Trade Organization, to name a few.

Abu Salem is an associate with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the UK and GCC BDI Certified Board Secretary. She is also a certified Ethics Officer and a Certified Compliance Professional.

Abu Salem has a bachelor’s degree in law from the Lebanese University and a master’s in Business Law from La Sagesse University with a specialty in Islamic Banking Regulations. She is in the process of completing her Master of Arts in Advanced Studies in International Affairs at the Lebanese American University (LAU).

 

Samer Abdul Samad

President & Chief Executive Officer

Samer Abdul Samad is the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nesma & Partners.

Samer joined the Company in 1994 as a site engineer and progressed steadily until he was promoted to Vice President of Public Works in 2016. In 2020, he was appointed as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer before his current appointment as the President and CEO in 2021.

During his previous roles, Samer was an indispensable member of the Operations Department overseeing all construction and infrastructure projects at Nesma & Partners.

Throughout his tenure as the President and CEO, Samer has worked to solidify the company’s positioning as a leading contracting company in the Kingdom. In early 2022, Samer shared his strategy and vision for Nesma & Partners within the organization to build on the company’s 40 years of legacy as a proud Saudi company, operating nationwide, progressively, regionally, and internationally.

Under his leadership, Nesma & Partners has won many mega projects like the Red Sea Airport and Riyadh Avenues and successfully delivered many projects for government and private clients in Riyadh, NEOM, al-Ula, and Eastern Province.

Samer has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from New York University, Tandon School of Engineering.

Richard Ollier

Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer

Richard Ollier is the Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer at Nesma & Partners.

With over 30 years of an international experience in project management in over 12 countries, Mr. Ollier has been credited with the turnaround performance of projects, programs, and portfolios with profitable growth development in global environments within real estate, railways, and energy sectors.

Before joining Nesma & Partners in 2021, Mr. Ollier was the Chief Project Management Officer at Jabal Omar Development Company, and he has worked for 23 years in ALSTOM Group, mainly in hydroelectric, transmission & distribution networks, and railways sectors. In 2013 as VP of turnkey projects, he went to KSA to launch the Riyadh metro project.

He graduated as an Engineer in Mechanics from the University of Technology of Compiegne in France and has a Master of Business and Administration from IEFSI (Lille – France).

Marc Krouse

Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Marc Krouse is the Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer at Nesma & Partners.

Before joining Nesma, Krouse was the Commercial Managing Director for Porr Qatar, a division of Porr Bau GmbH, the Austrian construction company, jointly overseeing their GCC operations.

With over 28 years of construction experience, of which 12 years were in GCC, mostly in senior executive roles, Krouse brings a wealth of industry-related experience to Nesma & Partners. At Porr, Krouse oversaw multi-billion US Dollars projects such as the Metro Green Line and Al Janoub Stadium in Doha.

Before that, at El Seif Engineering, he was involved in Princess Noura University for Women in Riyadh and the companies HHR KAEC station. With vast International experience in the United States, Australia, Southern, and East Africa, Krouse is well suited to be a key player in driving the current growth phase of Nesma & Partners.

 Marc Krouse holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance with majors in Business Administration, Business Finance, and Accounting.

Housam Ibrahim-Basha

Vice President & Chief Support Services Officer

Housam Ibrahim-Basha is the Vice President & Chief Support Services Officer at Nesma & Partners.

Before assuming this leadership position, Ibrahim-Basha worked for over 20 years in management roles in human resources, administration, and IT.  He is best known for driving cultural change by leading HR compliance across Nesma Group’s companies.

Ibrahim-Basha has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Portland State University and specializes in HR Strategy in Transforming Organizations at the London Business School.

Shawki Gholmie

Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development

Shawki Imad Gholmie is the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Nesma & Partners. Shawki has demonstrated success in establishing, developing, and scaling organizational capabilities across M&A, business development, strategy and planning, and digital transformation. Shawki is a dual MBA candidate from Columbia and London Business Schools - expected in 2026; he also holds a BSc and a Master's degrees in Civil Engineering and Economics from Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Emory University.

Michael Fakhoury

Michael Fakhoury

Vice President of Energy

Michael Fakhoury is Vice President of Energy at Nesma & Partners.

Fakhoury is best known for his direct involvement in the execution of 20 successful Nesma & Partners projects since joining the company in 2002. In 2016, he was assigned the position of General Manager for Aramco Projects.

His journey and collaboration with Saudi Aramco started with the Haradh Gas Plant project in 2002 and continued for 20 years through different projects in different departments within Saudi Aramco in the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil & Gas industries.

Fakhoury holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also has an EMBA from the American University of Beirut. He is certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP).

Antoine G. Kfouri

Antoine G. Kfouri is the Vice President of Buildings/MEP & Technical Support at Nesma & Partners.

Antoine’s experience spans over 40 years in Construction and Electrical Utility. Before joining Nesma & Partners, Antoine was a project manager and completed key projects for major clients such as Saudi Aramco, Royal Commission of Jubail, Saudi Glass Factory, BEEAH, etc.

Antoine Joined Nesma & Partners in late 1996 as MEP Department Manager. With his hard work and dedication, he steadily progressed in his career. Before his current appointment, he was the Vice President of MEP & Technical Support.

Antoine holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and did Postgraduate studies in Electrical Engineering and Project Management at AUB.

Bilal Ansari is the Vice President of Infrastructure Construction at Nesma & Partners.

Ansari brings over 25 years of experience in construction, real estate, and engineering. Before joining Nesma & Partners in 2019 as Program Director, Mr. Ansari held senior leadership positions such as Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Acting Vice President for Construction in several prominent organizations in the Kingdom, including Saudi Oger Ltd.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a master’s in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.

Mohammed Mahfouz

Mohammed Mahfouz is Vice President of Procurement & Subcontracts at Nesma & Partners.

Before his current leadership position, Mahfouz served as the Procurement Manager. He also was project manager of some landmark projects including the Laboratory, Research, and Development Center in Dhahran, Wastewater Environmental Protection in Abqaiq, and Al-Azizia Panda Shopping Mall in Dhahran.

Mr. Mahfouz has a BS in Civil Engineering from Alazhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

Amin Aljaber

Chief Information Officer

Amin Aljaber is the Chief Information Officer at Nesma & Partners, leading the company's IT strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation efforts.

With over 25 years of experience, Amin has held executive positions in global organizations such as KPMG, Atos, HP, and SAP, where he successfully managed complex IT projects and implemented enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems across diverse industries, including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Public Sector, Airlines, Automotive, Retail, and Petrochemicals.

Amin's leadership is not just about achieving business goals but also about fostering an innovation-driven culture. His commitment to this culture and a collaborative, project-based work environment is evident in his academic and professional journey. With an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Amin has been instrumental in introducing cutting-edge solutions leveraging mobile, social, cloud, and AI technologies at Nesma & Partners, positioning the company at the forefront of digital innovation.

A recognized thought leader in automation, digital transformation, corporate innovation, and customer centricity, Amin is a frequent speaker at local, regional, and international conferences. He actively contributes to panel discussions and shares his expertise on the evolving IT and business transformation landscape.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Amin's life is enriched by his passion for sports, particularly running and cycling. His active participation in races across the GCC region is a testament to his dedication and discipline. He also finds joy in capturing moments through his keen interest in photography and art, reflecting his appreciation for creativity and precision.

Hadi Abi Haidar

Hadi Abi Haidar is Vice President of Engineering at Nesma & Partners.

His long-time career at the Company started almost thirty years ago when he joined as Design Engineer in Architecture. During this time, he assumed several leadership positions such as design team leader, engineering manager for the Research and Development Lab at Aramco, and engineering manager at the Head Office.

Abi Haidar has a master’s degree in architecture engineering.

Mohammad Jafar Khan

Vice President and Chief Contracts & Legal Officer

Mohammad Jafar Khan is the Vice President and Chief Contracts & Legal Officer at Nesma & Partners.

Khan has over 29 years of experience as a professional engineer. His strengths lie in site management, planning, estimation, business development, and leadership.

Khan has extensive experience in contract execution and management, corporate legal support, project planning management, quality assurance and safety management, and writing commercial and technical proposals.

Before his current position, Khan was Chief Officer for Contracts and Legal at the Company. His career highlights include being Chief Operations Officer at MBN Construction, KSA, and Chief Engineer at DADCO, KSA.

Khan holds a bachelor’s degree and a gold medal in Applied Sciences from the University of Baluchistan, Quetta, Pakistan, and won the Central Treaty Organization (CENTO) scholarship.

Serge Marashlian

Vice President of Project Controls

Serge Marashlian is Vice President of Project Controls at Nesma & Partners.

Marashlian’s career with the Company started in 2002 when he joined Nesma & Alfadl as a planning engineer. Throughout his tenure at N&P, he oversaw over 100 project control personnel for various programs and projects, including infrastructure, aviation, industrial plants, buildings, healthcare, energy, metros, and water.

As VP-Project Controls, he now reports to the Chief Operating Officer/EVP on costs and time-related subjects for projects with annual revenue exceeding US $1 billion.

Marashlian has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut.

Haytham Kalash

Haytham Kalash is the Deputy Vice President of Building Construction at Nesma & Partners.

Haytham Kalash is a seasoned professional with over 29 years of invaluable expertise in the realm of General Contracting, specializing in building construction. With a remarkable tenure of 25 years in Saudi Arabia and an additional four years in Canada, Haytham brings a wealth of diverse experiences to his role as Vice President of Building Construction at Nesma & Partners.

His journey with Nesma & Partners commenced in 2004 when he was initially a project manager. Throughout his tenure, he has spearheaded the successful completion of numerous landmark projects, ranging from Power Plants to Oil & Gas facilities and Hospitals.

Beyond his contributions to Nesma & Partners, Haytham's professional footprint extends across various industries, including Electrical Power Generation and Transmission, Industrial Plants, Oil and Gas facilities, Hospitals, and Commercial projects. He has honed his skills and expertise through roles at esteemed international entities such as ABB and SNC Lavalin, further enriching his vast knowledge base.

Haytham's academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the prestigious American University of Beirut, earned in 1995. Notably, he achieved a significant milestone in 2005 by becoming the first employee at Nesma & Partners to attain the esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, underscoring his commitment to excellence and continuous professional development.

Nesma & Partners, the leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia, has announced a landmark joint venture with Sicim, a renowned Italian firm. This strategic partnership, aimed at two Master Gas projects involving pipeline engineering, procurement, and construction for nearly 500 kilometers of 56” size across the mountainous western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between Taif and South Jeddah, is a significant step towards enhancing the energy sector's capabilities in the Kingdom, marking a pivotal moment in the region's pipeline development.

NASJV

The Joint Venture of NASJV between Nesma & Partners, Almabani General Contractors, and Advanced Telecom Systems for Contracting Company was formed in January 2020 to execute two contracts for the construction, procurement, and development of King Faisal Air Academy (“KFAA”) and King Salman Air Base (“KSAB”) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Ministry of Defense.

Nesma & Partners group is the leading provider of integrated project solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With a strong legacy in contracting, Nesma & Partners has grown its footprint both locally through its contracting and industrial services and globally through its wholly owned subsidiary, Kent, a renowned leader in engineering and project management services.

Our Story

What began in 1981 as a contracting firm to meet the growing demands of an emerging economy in the rapidly developing Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has evolved today into a diversified group delivering end-to-end, reliable, and innovative services across the energy, infrastructure, and building sectors, spanning consulting, engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.

1981

Nesma & Al Fadl

Nesma & Partners was established in 1981 as “Nesma & Al Fadl”

1995

Nesma-Emcor

Partnered up with Nesma-Emcor to power electro-mechanical construction works.

1997

Nesma-AGAP

Partnered up with Nesma-AGAP to break into the oil & gas contracting sector.

2004

The Merger

The union of our strengths led to the foundation of Nesma & Partners.

2010

1,000,000,000+ Revenues

By 2010, our revenues exceeded SAR 1 billion.

2022

Public Investment Fund (PIF)

In November 2022, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) was welcomed as a partner in Nesma & Partners.

2024

Kent's Acquisition

In January 2024, Nesma & Partners acquired Kent, a renowned global leader in engineering and project management within the energy sector.

2025

Sudlows Acquisition

In February 2025, Kent acquired Sudlows Consulting, a leading design and engineering firm specializing in data centers.

2025

AYTB Acquisition

In July 2025, Nesma & Partners acquired Al Yusr Industrial Contracting Company (AYTB), a prominent provider of industrial services in the Kingdom.
